With the news of Keith McClellan's passing I want to take this opportunity to highlight what an asset he was to the community of Oak Park. Keith always proudly stood next to his wife, Mayor Marian McClellan, as they together advocated for the best interest of those in Oak Park. Keith loved our City and our community. He could be regularly seen at local events, with a smile and air of pride for his community and the way in which his loved ones supported the place he called home.
Keith was a kind, intelligent and family-oriented man who was always tirelessly working to support others, particularly his wife (and our Mayor) and his children.
Oak Park is a better place because of Keith McClellan and I am certain his legacy will live on.
I offer my deepest condolences to Mayor McClellan and their family during this time.
Sincerely,City Manager Erik Tungate
