Oakland County Executive Dave Coulter and University of Michigan economists Dr. Gabriel Ehrlich and Donald Grimes will hold a news conference at the M1 Concourse Event Center to announce the three-year economic outlook for Oakland County from 2022-2024. The news conference begins at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 28, on the second floor of the event center.
They will forecast what job growth will look like in various sectors of the economy over the next three years as the pandemic recedes but with new challenges ahead such as rising consumer prices and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The news conference will precede the Oakland County Economic Outlook Luncheon where Coulter and the economists will deliver forecast details to business and community leaders.
