If You Know Your Vote, Don't Wait to Cast Your Ballot!

City of Berkley issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.

ABSENTEE BALLOT REMINDER:

The Clerk's Office would like to kindly remind those voting absentee can turn in their ballots AHEAD of the November 2 Election.

Residents who are voting using an absent voter ballot, also known as the “vote-by-mail” system, can drop off their ballots at our local dropbox (located at 3338 Coolidge Hwy) to avoid delays with postal mail OR in person at City Hall.

All absentee voter ballots must be received at the Clerk’s Office by 8 PM on Election Day to be counted.

CLERK'S OFFICE EXTENDED HOURS

The Clerk's Office will be open for election business only on the following day:

  • October 30, 2021, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Residents will be allowed to do the following:

  1. Register to vote 
  2. Vote absentee ballot
  3. Drop off absentee ballots in-person
    • NOTE: Residents can still drop off their ballots via the secure Dropbox located at City Hall
  4. Spoil ballots 
Residents can also conduct election business during our regular offices hours.  We are open 8:30 AM to 5 PM (closed for lunch 1-2 PM).

ELECTION DAY REMINDER:

City Hall will be open on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 (Election Day) for ELECTION BUSINESS ONLY.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause, however, we are prioritizing the safety of our staff and the community amongst COVID-19 and flu season to ensure exceptional City services and we thank you for your patience.
