City of Farmington Hills issued the following announcement on Sept. 24.
Farmington Hills Mayor Vicki Barnett and City officials recognize the hardships that residents are experiencing due to ongoing power outages caused by DTE’s outdated infrastructure and overgrown trees in the area. In recent meetings with high level DTE representatives, the City has conveyed the frustration, financial concerns, and outright anger that residents have experienced in the aftermath of recent storms and continued electrical issues that highlight the need for a reliable power grid.
