Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.
Oakland Family Dental's Food Drive to support Waterford Senior Center Meals on Wheels is going until Friday, January 31. The winter weather could prevent Meals on Wheels from being donated in our area, and the non-perishable food items donated will be used for emergency meals in that case. Items requested are:
-Single serve bags of peanuts
-Single serve fruit cups (applesauce, peaches, pears, mixed fruit)
-Granola or cereal bars (we try to get the lowest sugar we can find)
-Single serve oatmeal packets
-Single serve cans of soup
-Single serve cans of chicken or tuna
-Single serve Macaroni and Cheese Cups
-Single serve raisins or dried fruit
-Single serve peanut butter cups
