Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 30.
To recognize the good in our community, The Waterford Police Department has partnered with the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce and local businesses to launch the "Caught Doing Good" initiative! Police officers in Waterford Township will distribute "Caught Doing Good" cards to citizens and students they "catch" doing something that helps promote kindness, generosity, and service in the community so they can be rewarded by local businesses.
We have 6 businesses participating in the launch of the program. Thank you to Studio 8 Fitness, Dr Erin Sundt, Comprehensive Dentistry, Eagle Graphics & Design, Inc., Karen S. McMurray: Allstate Insurance, Square One Eats & Treats, and Champagne Engraving for donating a discount or complimentary item to those "Caught Doing Good."
