The average cost of regular gas in cities within Oakland County was $3.67 per gallon.

There are 210 gas stations in cities within Oakland County.

The average price of regular gas in Michigan was $3.62.

The U.S. government missed the mark when forecasting gas prices for 2022. A short-term outlook published early in 2022 claimed gas rates would fall, when in fact gas rates rose significantly.

The outlook once again suggested that prices would fall in 2023.
