A Message From City Manager Erik Tungate

A MESSAGE FROM CITY MANAGER ERIK TUNGATE:

Greetings Oak Park Friends and Neighbors:

Thanksgiving is a holiday that focuses on many traditions: food, family, football and—of course—giving thanks.

This year, I want to thank all of you in Oak Park for helping us find ways to elevate our programs and services to best serve our community!

From your participation in our surveys regarding e-scooters, the temporary Gardner Street Pocket Park and your recreation activity participation to your attendance at the multiple engagement sessions we held for the Elevate Oak Park Project to your commitment to exercising your right to vote—you showed up to serve in the best interest of your community! Without such dedication to your community Oak Park wouldn’t shine as bright as it does. We have many reasons to be thankful here in Oak Park and each one of you are a reason behind my gratitude this year!

Happy Thanksgiving, Oak Park!

Oh, and of course, GO LIONS!(We can still go 7-9 this season, as I predicted earlier in the year. To watch my early take on the Lion's season visit: http://bit.ly/3Oyhtxn)

Sincerely,

City Manager Erik Tungate
