OU to celebrate Veterans Week with activities, events

From November 7-11, Oakland University will host a series of events and activities for Veterans Week. Check the listing below for opportunities to support and celebrate veterans, including more than 200 student, faculty and staff veterans on campus. Monday, November 7 | 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.Join OU Veterans Support Services for a “Mess Hall Monday” mealOakland Center, West Entrance (near welcome desk)

Veterans Week at Oakland University is sponsored by Magna, the David N. Sokol Scholarship for Veterans, and Northwestern Mutual/Wilshire Benefits Group.

In addition to Veterans Week celebrations, Oakland University acknowledges and supports U.S. military veterans through a host of programs and services. The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency recently awarded OU Gold-level status on its 2022 list of veteran-friendly schools, the sixth consecutive year the university has achieved this honor.
