A moving display of 188 United States flags will fly in a solemn formation at Centennial Commons in Downtown Royal Oak from May 29 through June 5 to pay tribute to Royal Oak heroes who died in active military service.
Each flag will tell the story of one of our hometown servicemen whose name appears on the Royal Oak War Memorial.
This display is made possible through a generous donation from the Henry Ford Health System and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
The display will be open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
Flags may be sponsored to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice as well to remember men and women currently serving in the United States military and veterans.
All proceeds from the Royal Oak Healing Field® will be used toward the beautification of the Royal Oak War Memorial.
For your $30 sponsorship, you will receive a commemorative gift and your personalized dedication will be attached to one of the flags.
