City of Berkley issued the following announcement on Mar. 3.

UPDATE: The water main break has been repaired and service is back to normal.

We have been informed by our Public Works (DPW) that there is a water main break on Kenmore Rd south of Webster Rd. DPW crews are en route now with repairs scheduled to begin in the next couple of hours.

Once repairs have started, DPW anticipates residents on Kenmore Rd from Edwards Ave. to Webster Rd. will have service disruptions. Typical repair times are around 3 - 5 hours once the other utilities have been marked. There is no boil advisory.

Residents in the surrounding area may experience discolored water during and for several hours after the repair has been completed.
