City of Berkley issued the following announcement on Jan. 27.

We have been informed by our Public Works (DPW) that there is a water main break Princeton Rd between Stanford Rd and Cass Blvd. DPW crews are en route to perform the repairs and anticipate the repairs to be completed before the end of the workday.

There will be service disruptions on Princeton Rd from Stanford Rd to Cass Blvd AND on Stanford Rd from 11 Mile Rd to Columbia Rd. There is no boil advisory.

Residents in the surrounding area may experience discolored water during and for several hours after the repair has been completed.
