DESIGN YOUR DEGREE WITH OU’S BACHELOR OF INTEGRATIVE STUDIES PROGRAM
Every organization needs skilled professionals. Companies are now hiring people with cross-functional expertise to improve productivity.
OU’s Integrative Studies (BIS) program lets you design your degree to gain essential interdisciplinary skills – increasing your marketability and workforce-readiness.
You’ll work with your OU adviser to choose classes for your BIS degree, combining majors like marketing and HR, management and IT, leadership and HR and much more.
Our 3+1 partnerships with Macomb Community College, Oakland Community College, St. Clair County Community College, Henry Ford College, Mid Michigan College, Mott Community College and Schoolcraft College mean you can transfer up to 88 credits toward your BIS degree – including applied and skilled trade credits. You may need to take as few as 32 credits at OU – saving you tuition dollars. And, you could earn your bachelor’s degree in about a year with our flexible course formats like hybrid, accelerated and online – saving you time.
Best of all, you can take your OU classes at our convenient locations at the Macomb University Center in Clinton Township, the OU Anton/Frankel Center in Mount Clemens and the main campus in Rochester Hills.
