What:
Oakland County will announce that 42 recipient organizations will share nearly $8.5 million of the $10 million Oakland Together Mental Health and Wellbeing Non-profit Grant Program, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act. The grants, administered by the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, are focused on expanding mental health services to Oakland County residents. Early investment of ARPA funds is targeting acute challenges from the pandemic such as mental health.
