FHFD Inspector Stan Barnes Represented the National Fire Protection Association and MI Prevention

City of Farmington Hills issued the following announcement on Oct. 6.

FHFD Inspector Stan Barnes Represented the National Fire Protection Association and MI Prevention at the Michigan Fire Inspectors Society’s 72nd Annual Fall Fire Education Conference

Farmington Hills Fire Department Inspector Stan Barnes recently represented the National Fire Protection Association and the Michigan Fire Inspectors Society Board as the State Representative for Education along with Regional Director Meredith Hawes. They presented information at the 72nd Annual Fall Educational Conference for the Michigan Fire Inspectors Society, a four-day convention held at Soaring Eagle in Mt. Pleasant. The Michigan Fire Inspectors Society (MFIS) is the premier code organization in the State of Michigan, with over 650 members. The MFIS believes that educating the public on how to prevent fires can help reduce the fire risk to citizens, firefighters, and property.
