Township Of Waterford issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
Waterford Department of Public Works is sending out revised Water & Sewer Bill statements for the August 2020 billing cycle.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Waterford Township’s Board of Trustees approved an extension of bill due dates for the March, April, May and June Water & Sewer billing cycles. This extension allowed customers to pay their bills in an effort to alleviate some of the economic impact of the pandemic for our residents and business owners.
This due date extension for the May 2020 billing cycle resulted in an error being created when printing the August 2020 bill statements which resulted in some bills printing with an inaccurate amount due. As soon as the error was discovered, it was corrected by Waterford DPW and new bills were sent to be printed and mailed. Customers that received an August 2020 bill statement already will soon be receiving a second bill statement reflecting the accurate amount due for their account. These revised bill statements have a note on them indicating that it is a revised statement. Please disregard the original August 2020 bill statement you may have received and treat the revised statement as your actual August 2020 bill statement.
