Waterford Township issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
The Waterford Township Cable Commission is seeking candidates for an open seat on the commission.
The cable commission monitors franchise compliance with the cable companies, resolves disputes arising between subscribers and the cable company, encourages the use and viewing of community cable channels, evaluates the cable system, and makes recommendations to the Township Board.
The cable commission meetings monthly in the evenings at Waterford Township Hall.

A background in telecommunications is preferred
