State Representative Mike Harris of Waterford, Michigan, has extended his congratulations to President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance on their recent inauguration. In a statement, Rep. Harris expressed support for the new administration and outlined the expectations held by many Americans.

“President Trump and Vice President Vance have the support and prayers of millions of Americans behind them as their new administration begins,” stated Harris. He acknowledged the challenges ahead for the administration in striving to make the nation more successful.

Harris emphasized the importance of foundational American principles, saying, “Our Constitution created a limited government, designed to protect liberty and promote opportunity for all.” He noted that President Trump was elected to uphold these principles and secure prosperity for future generations.

In addition to his national focus, Harris also addressed state-level priorities. “Here in Michigan, the new House Republican majority will be hard at work, too,” he said. The focus will be on empowering residents, safeguarding families, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
